The book Perfume Culture was born of a desire to provide an introduction to the world of perfumes. It is the main learning tool used by the training department for its courses. With a clean and clear design, its arrangement into different chapters is intended to make it easier to understand: The History of Perfume, which includes boxes with sociocultural information and tendencies through the ages; the Art of Making Perfume, which explains the process, and an introduction to scents, which provides basic information on the most common ingredients, facets and fragrances. The book’s final chapters are on scent families and a glossary.
