The new packaging design for confectionery includes boxes for cakes, chocolates, nougats, wafers and wrapping paper. The first step was to optimise the structural design of this packaging in order to simplify production. We then added a graphic resource to update the image, maintaining the brand’s distinctive corporate silver colour. The solution was a diamond pattern as a background, which is very versatile and can be used for different applications depending on the material and printing technique.
Design and production
Wrapping paper: two colour models, 2-colour flexographic printing.
Chocolates: self-assembly boxes made of 350 g graphic cardboard laminated with silver polyester, offset printed with UV inks, matt laminated and die-cut.
Nougat: 350 g graphic cardboard bases printed in offset silver ink, matt laminated and die-cut. Transparent polypropylene covers, screen printed in silver and white.
Wafers: 350 g graphic cardboard boxes, offset printed in silver ink, matt laminated and die-cut.
